In our lives we face with times of joy and sorrow. If we have a choice, we would opt for joy not for sorrow. God allows sorrows in the life of a child of God because He wants His children to find joy in Him when faced with storms in life.
Sorrows and tribulations strengthen our faith in Christ. It increases our confidence in Him rather than depending on our own ability. Our Lord will not push us into sorrowful situations and leave us alone to face it. He is like a gold smith who stands with us to control the heat until it becomes a shining and beautiful piece of fine gold. Let’s praise Him for He is still working on us.
He’s still working on me
To make me what I need to be
It took him just a week to make the moon and stars
The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars
How loving and patient He must be
‘Cause He’s still working on me
Jesus said “In Me you have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world”. John 16:33.
Amen!
